How BitStorage Works

Start by providing your Cloudflare R2 credentials. BitStorage establishes a secure, client-side connection directly to your R2 bucket. Your credentials are never stored on our servers, ensuring your data remains private and under your control.

• Account ID: Your unique Cloudflare account identifier.
• Access Key ID & Secret Access Key: API tokens you generate from your Cloudflare dashboard.
• Bucket Name: The specific R2 bucket you want to manage.

Once connected, you get a beautiful and intuitive file manager right in your browser. All operations happen directly between your browser and your R2 bucket.

• Upload: Easily upload files with a simple drag-and-drop or file selector.
• Download & Preview: Securely download or preview your files with time-limited signed URLs.
• Delete: Remove files from your bucket with a confirmation step to prevent accidents.

BitStorage is built with privacy as a core principle. The entire application runs in your browser. We are a user interface for your R2, not a proxy.

• Your credentials are stored locally in your browser's local storage and are only used to communicate with Cloudflare's APIs.
• No data ever passes through a third-party server.
